“Bless your heart” is Southern charm school vernacular for, “Girl, you a mess…!” Mrs. Jones gets an occasional “Bless your heart,” but that’s OK.
Food, food, food dear God!!! Planning a month in advance we were lucky to get into The Grey restaurant downtown Savannah. This is in a 1938 Art Deco greyhound bus station perfectly restored and DELICIOUS!! A picture paints a thousand words…

Located in the epicenter of Southern culture and hospitality sits the Perry Lane Hotel known for it’s eclectic Southern style and roof top bar. Mrs. Jones debated ditching the RV for a night! Perry Lane also has an awesome downstairs bar fully air conditioned! Can you say record heat wave?

Day two Savannah had Mrs. Jones scrambling for a place to cool off. Sometimes you just have to sit by a fountain and google cool bars…

And, we found one right up our RV loving alley… the Treylor Park restaurant and bar! Check out the apple pie sandwich.

Predictably poor budgeting found Mrs. Jones back at the RV campground (mostly a field) behind a shed in the shade… and really glad to be there. After all the uppity ass restaurant establishments, this is what night two looked like;

Mrs. Jones is badass at trivial pursuit, but in a virtual tie it all ended with, “what Canadian filmmaker is known for submersibles?’ Lucky guess Mr. Jones! He won a hard fought game with a victory lap with Otter around the campground (field) and some other stuff… Bless your Heart Mrs. Jones.

Goodbye Savannah!!!

Hello Carolinas!!! See you next in Charlotte…
