Mrs Jones likes her music. When you’re thrown into New Orleans for college at 18, music is bound to take ahold of a person. After a ‘short’ break raising four kids – there’s been some catching up to do! After hauling a couple of our begrudging, boomeranging kids to Fort Lauderdale to see John Prine – we learned about Cayamo (an epic singer songwriter Americana lineup with music all day and night – we spent a few years on that boat). Once we were reestablished on the terra firma we headed to Roots and Blues in Columbia, Missouri; Savannah Music Festival: Suwannee, Wanee; Forecastle, Louisville; Riverhawk, Brooksville, FL; Mile Marker 0, Key West; Northwest String Summit, Portland, Oregon; Jazz Fest, New Orleans; Tortuga Music Fest, Fort Lauderdale (thanks Murph); Sunfest, West Palm Beach; Fayetteville Roots Festival, Arkansas; Avettes at the Beach, MX; Banjo-B-Que Fest, Augusta, GA; and quite frankly a whole bunch we don’t rightly recall.
Upcoming! BONAROO, Manchester, TN (yikes); Hinterland, St. Charles, Iowa; Jason Isbell, Red Rocks, CO; and anything small or large that we stumble upon on the road! Come along!

Loving the photos and commentary ! Keep on truckin’ !!
